PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, will study proposal of Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat about free entry ticket.

 I hope the study can be completed in two weeks

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk President Director, C Paul Tehusijarana disclosed, it is done to calculate the possibility of applying a special parking tariff as a replacement income for ticket.

"We were asked to study, review and make a report to Mr. Governor about alternative free entry, what kind of management. We are still learning," he expressed, Friday (9/22).

According to him, free entry ticket will have an impact on revenue. However, the alternative adoption of special parking tariffs does not have the potential to boost earnings and may close free ticket.

On the other hand, Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said, apart from the increase in parking revenue, the Ancol also has the potential to get additional input if the Art Market is visited. It is believed, the policy will boost the number of visitors come to the market.

"We hope the market will develop, as some culinary deserted can also be developed. I hope the study can be completed in two weeks," he stated.

He added PT Pembangunan Jay Ancol could test the scheme of free entry ticket and the application of special parking for six months. If it turns out to cover operational costs, the policy can be permanent.

"It's hoped Ancol can be more crowded and can be enjoyed by people responsibly. This is important to be responsible, should not be arbitrarily," he closed.
